This CD–ROM is intended as a collection of hard-to-find technical data and other interesting information about the Apollo 11 mission, as well as the Apollo program in general. As to the technical data, NASA usually issued an extensive press kit before every Apollo mission and also published an extensive mission operation report after each mission. In addition, there were detailed news references for the Apollo Command Module and the Lunar Module. For the Saturn V rocket that launched the astronauts toward the Moon, NASA issued both a news reference and a technical information summary packet.
